Nathan Goff is a ceramic artist working with tile. Using carved relief and layered glazing, Goff explores posture, gesture, tension, and the distance between outward presentation and internal experience. Working between planned composition and unpredictable glaze movement, he allows variation, distortion, and material behavior to become part of the figure. Through these processes, he examines how identity, vulnerability, and interpersonal dynamics are communicated through the body.
His work has been exhibited across the United States and is held in private collections. He is based in Raleigh, North Carolina.
